THE QUALITY OF CONNECTION is all important in creating a good relationship with our dogs. It must be built upon a foundation of trust. To do this we must be fair and clear with both our verbal and non-verbal (body) communication skills, while making sure their critical needs such as health, affection and exercise are being met. The value of the canine perspective and language needs to be considered while establishing appropriate leadership. We must know how to listen to them and understand what they have to say while we go about our efforts of training to make them safe and obedient.
My purpose is to give insight to your entire situation and create a fun and effective program to help you achieve your specific goals. It is important to make training balanced and fun for every person and dog involved in the process. The private lessons in your home include your entire family, and I will show you how to train your pet using positive training methods without the use of choke chains or harsh treatment. Your dog will learn that good things happen for listening to you, and will become a dog who cooperates and wants to be responsive to you! Training is based upon the use of common rewards and a creative approach to leadership and safety for adults and children.
Whether your dog is rambunctious, aggressive, excitable, pulling on the leash, is "willful" or "spiteful" - the chances are good that he's as frustrated and stressed as you are. Remember, problems don't get better by themselves; in fact, they multiply with time! Please don't wait - get on your way to control and harmony with your dog!
