This beautiful, professionally trained, 34-pound staffie/pointer mix is highly affectionate, loves connection, and bonds strongly with her human.  Trainers attest that she’s whip smart.  Just under a year and a half old, Freckles is spayed, house trained, and crate trained. She's the perfect size!  She rolls over for tummy rubs, loves giving face baths . . . and she's an athletic prodigy!  (You should see how high she leaps to catch a ball!)  She's the perfect candidate for agility workouts or rigorous rounds of ball throwing in the yard.
Freckles’ rescue stars have not lined up.  An unsuccessful adoption began the whirlwind of failed fosters and a return to the shelter!  Now this sweet girl sometimes reacts when afraid.  She needs a calm, stable, experienced owner who will reinforce the positive training she's received and stick with her through their transition together.  This is a marvelous dog and well worth the commitment!!!

Freckles will thrive in a consistent, calm environment with plenty of exercise and love. She’s the ideal companion for a dog-savvy person who works from home.  While she gets along well with most other dogs, Freckles will adjust best in a calm, loving home with positive training.  In fact, additional training comes along as part of the package for the right dedicated adopter!
